Biographical / Historical
George Spencer-Churchill, 6th Duke of Marlborough (1793-1857) was a politician and nobleman, and owner of the Blenheim Palace estate. Richard James Spiers (1806-1877) was an Oxford bookseller and an alderman of the city, having served as Mayor of Oxford from 1853-1854.
