Papers connected with the parish of Combe or Long Combe near Woodstock, collected apparently by Charles Richardson in about 1820-30. The papers include extracts from Hundred Rolls and other documents, notes of the charities, copies of the Churchwardens' Accounts, etc.
At fol. 354 are 'Some particulars of the Life of Robert Hitchcock' of Combe, who was executed for murder in 1778. Among the original papers are:
- Fol. 336. Extract from a View of Frankpledge and Court Baron 3 Oct. 1673 about Ralph Hammond, in Latin
- Fol. 309. some original parish levies 1765-81, etc.
- Fol. 74. poem on the vicar, --Lee, Dec. 1822
- Fol. 419. two letters from John Dunkin the historian of Oxfordshire, 1824
