Abstract
Letter from Herbert Edward Forrest to Charles Oldham.
Biographical / Historical
Herbert Edward Forrest (1858-1942), naturalist and antiquary, was born in Wolverhampton. He was the author of The Fauna of Shropshire (1899), The Vertebrate Fauna of North Wales (1907) and A Handbook to the Vertebrate Fauna of North Wales (1919). He served as secretary, later president, of the Caradoc and Severn Valley Field Club.
