Kathy Sedar is a calligrapher and teacher of calligraphy.
'Redesigning the Medieval Book' was a competition for new works created by artists, bookbinders and calligraphers inspired by books and texts on display in the Bodleian's 'Designing English: Graphics on the Medieval Page' exhibition in 2017-2018. A selection of the new works, including 'MCXXXVII', was shown alongside 'Designing English'.
