Abstract
Papers of Clemence Margaret Acland.
Biographical / Historical
Clemence Margaret Acland (1889-1973) was the daughter of Francis Edward Dyke Acland and Marion Sarah Macrorie. She served overseas in World War I and as an ambulance driver during World War II. Between 1920 and 1929 she worked as a research assistant in the Tuberculosis Department of the Medical School in Cardiff. She was a member of the Zoological Photographic Society and the British Ornithologists' Union.
