Biographical / Historical

Robert Keith (1681–1757) was a Scottish Episcopal bishop and historian.

Browne Willis (1682–1760) was an antiquary.

Robert Forbes (bap. 1708-1775) was a Jacobite annalist and the Scottish Episcopal bishop of Ross and Caithness.

Thomas Bawdler (fl. 1755-1760).

The Summary catalogue of western manuscripts in the Bodleian Library at Oxford which have not hitherto been catalogued in the Quarto series (Madan, et al., 1980), vol. 5, records that this item was 'Acquired by exchange On April 6, 1882'. It was exchanged for the item described at no. 29220:
