Manuscript papers relating to the town of Shrewsbury
Manuscript papers relating to the town of Shrewsbury, about 17541772, almost all either legal or political, and of local interest, in connexion with elections to Parliament, etc.
There are several letters from William Pulteney, 1768-1772 (fol. 21, etc.), and from dr. John Douglas 1761-1768 (fol. 73, etc.), chiefly addressed to Henry Bowdler, attorney of Shrewsbury, who probably collected these materials.
The printed papers extend to 1820.
