Catalogus Manuscriptorum rariorum [Islandicorum, Danicorum, etc.], e maxima parte ad Septemtrionis antiqvitates et veterem literaturam pertinentium ... Hauniæ 1830
'Catalogus Manuscriptorum rariorum [Islandicorum, Danicorum, etc.], e maxima parte ad Septemtrionis antiqvitates et veterem literaturam pertinentium ... Hauniæ 1830.'
A letter of W. C. Trevelyan at p. i, dated Aug. 22, 1830, shows that he sent this volume, and that it represents the Icelandic collection of professor Finn Magnusen, which he wished to dispose of for £150: a printed Indulgence of 1478 was also included in the catalogue.
The Bodleian did not purchase the 235 MSS. here offered as an addition to the Boreal collection bought from the same person in 1828.
