'Memoirs of the Press Lease 1765', an account of the proceedings of the Delegacy appointed by Convocation to conclude a lease of the Clarendon Press, Oct. 14, 1765-Jan. 28, 1766, written by William Huddesford, then proctor.
In the end messrs. Wright and Gill obtained the lease against the previous lessee, Thomas (?) Baskett.

Immediate Source of Acquisition
'This, in case of my Death, to be given to the Bodleyan Library, W. H[uddesford]': he died on Oct. 6, 1772, and the volume was 'Recd Feb. 25, 1773. J. P[rice].' It never received a reference in the Library and strayed into private hands, for it was again presented to the Library by the rev. W. W. Jackson, rector of Exeter college, Oxford, in July 1887.
