'Palætinæ veteris Descriptio', notes on the geography of Palestine, chiefly excerpts from printed books
'Palætinæ veteris Descriptio', notes on the geography of Palestine, chiefly excerpts from printed books, such as Josephus, Becmannus, Adrichomius, Spanheim and others. The chief part bears a title 'Retractatio Notarum e Becmanno alijsque collectarum' (fol. 23), which implies a revision of former notes. The first piece is an index to dr. John Lightfoot's Chorographica (fol. 5), followed by a list of books on Palestine. The volume was originally entered in the Library books as 'Aldrichius in Josephum', which appears to be an entire misnomer, partly due to confusion with Adrichomius.
