'Statuta ecclesiæ cathedralis ... Roffensis, edita per ... Henricum octavum ... regem ... eiusdem ecclesiæ Roffensis fundatorem', dated June 30, 1544: an original copy signed by Nicholas [Heath, bishop of] Worcester (who was bishop of Rochester until Dec. 22, 1543), George [Day, bishop of] Chichester, and Richard Cox: a list of the first prebendaries, one of whom died in 1544, is on the inner front cover.

The form of the Bishop's Oath is on p. iv, and an 'Ordo Scholasticorum instituendorum', about the management and work of the cathedral school, on p. 32. From notes of elections and acts of 1555-89 on pp. v, 29, 34, 39 this copy seems to have belonged to successive deans of Rochester, certainly to Thomas Willoughby, dean from 1574 to 1585. Two recipes are on p. i.
