Samuel Denne (1730–1799) was an English antiquary.

Custodial History

Owned by F. W. Cock, 1929; possibly part of lot 162, Sotheby's, 8 May 1944 (Cock sale); bought by E. H. W. Meyerstein 'for 15s. on Jeffery's stall in Farringdon Road, London, autumn 1944' (note on fol. 3).

Immediate Source of Acquisition

Given by E. H. W. Meyerstein in memory of his parents, Sir Edward and Lady Meyerstein, 1945.
