Exemplification of a decree in Chancery, 1610, concerning the customs of the manor of Hemel Hempstead, made at the request of the tenants (fol. 9v) and signed by sixteen of them (fol. 10), with (fol. 41) 17th-century copy by Nicholas Cholmeley, notary public, of the Hemel Hempstead charter of 1539.
