William III (1650-1702) was sovereign of Prince of Orange and King of England, Ireland and Scotland from 1689.

'David Constable London 1821' on fol. ii; item 2925 in the sale catalogue of his library (Edinburgh, 1828); according to a note on page i, the volume 'came out of Lord Abergavenny's collection at Tunbridge Wells, probably belonged to Mr. Robinson (John) Private Secretary to Lord North'.
