Part of the memoirs of Edmund Ludlow entitled A Voyce from the Watch Tower
Part of the memoirs of Edmund Ludlow entitled A Voyce from the Watch Tower, written (fol. 328) c.1674, partly (fols. 1-7, 320v, 328-82) in Ludlow's hand, but mainly in that of a copyist, with annotations and corrections by Ludlow.
The manuscript formed pp. [721]-1454 of a larger volume and covers the years 1660-76. It includes much detail omitted from the original printed edition (Switzerland [London], 1698). A list of contents (fols. 1-7, 379-82) in Ludlow's hand suggests that a further 331 pages continued the memoirs into the reign of James II. See Edmund Ludlow, A voyce from the watch tower, part five: 1660-1662, ed. A. B. Worden (Royal Historical Society, Camden 4th series, 21, 1978).
