Dawson Turner (1775-1858) was an English banker, botanist and antiquary. Thomas Joseph Pettigrew (1832-1908) was a Scottish comparative anatomist. Harriet Martineau (1802-1876) was an English writer and journalist. Edward Moxon (bap. 1801, d. 1858) was an English publisher and poet. Hannah More (1745-1833) was an English religious writer and philanthropist.
