  1. (fol. 9) copy by Robert Bridges, for the press, of poem beg. 'A song of my heart', printed in The Pelican Record [college magazine of Corpus Christi College, Oxford], 1 (Oxford, 1891-3), 2-3
  2. (fols. 118-39) extracts from medieval records, many relating to Lancashire, in several hands, possibly of heralds, 17th cent.
  3. (fol. 150) a petition of beneficed clergymen who had been besieged in Oxford, to the House of Commons, 1646, that they be allowed to compound for their livings or to go to London to obtain 'some fitting allowance', under the 11th and 20th articles of the terms of surrender of Oxford, with thirty-nine signatures
  4. (fol. 151) contemporary copy of the petition, with copies of fifty- five names, c.1646
  5. (fols. 161-71) draft translation into French of the preface to James Rennell's Memoir of a map of Hindoostan or the Mogul's empire (1783)
  6. (fols. 178-9) memorandum by John Wallis on the disposal of Thomas Barlow's books, 1675, endorsed by 'W. S.', 1703.
