Sketchbook, 1856-8, Llanthony and Pant-y-Goitre (Mon.) and elsewhere in South Wales, Melbourne (Derbys.), Ashley-Combe (Soms.), Endsleigh, Werrington, Chagford, Berry Pomeroy, Moreton and Dartmoor (Devon), Truro, Treen, Land's End and Chun Castle (Cornwall), and elsewhere in the West Country, including architectural features, ancient artefacts, prehistoric camps and standing stones and natural features, with:

  1. (fol. 10) a carved amber human head in the possession of Sir John Harpur Crewe
  2. (fols. 11-14) pigs and sheep
  3. (fols. 46-9) sketches (mainly humorous) of people and social scenes.
