Biographical / Historical
Alice Oswald (b. 1966) studied at New College, Oxford, and published her first collection of poetry, The Thing in the Gap-Stone Stile, in 1996. Her awards include the Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize, the 2013 Warwick Prize for writing and a Ted Hughes award.
