Manuscript journal ascribed to Marie (Minna) Pearce-Serocold, containing humorous and satirical accounts of river trips undertaken in Oxfordshire and Berkshire, Jul 1887 and May 1890, and one poem, in a similar tone, ascribed to Marie's father, Charles Pearce-Serocold. The accounts are accompanied by illustrations in ink and pencil, some pasted-in. The journal also includes pasted-in Thames Conservancy tickets for the passage of a pleasure boat through locks and weirs.
