Biographical / Historical

William Lionel Hichens (1874-1940) was an industrialist and businessman. He was Chairman of Cammell Laird, shipbuilders, steelmakers, and armaments manufacturers and Chairman of the English Electric Company. Details are given in the Dictionary of National Biography.
