Biographical / Historical
Henry William Carless Davis (1874-1928) was a historian. He was a fellow of All Souls College, Oxford, 1895-1902, and a college tutor. He became Regius Professor of Modern History at Oxford, 1925-1928. For further details see the Dictionary of National Biography.
