Transcript of the original instructions for the office of the Ordnance, with additions and amendments from the reigns of James II through to George IV. It describes in detail the duties of the various offices of the ordnance and includes a contents pages (fols. v-xvi). It was made for Henry Hardinge, who was appointed clerk of the Ordnance in 1823.
