Two poems by William Mason, 'Ode to Independency' and 'Ode to Memory' which differ from those published in the 1756 edition of Mason’s Odes. Not in Mason’s hand, this manuscript was written probably c. 1740 by someone closely associated with him or his circle. Includes:

  2. (fol. 2) 'Ode to Memory'
