Biographical / Historical
Edward Bouverie Pusey (1800-1882) was a Church of England clergyman, theologian and leading proponent of the Oxford Movement, which aimed to revive aspects of Catholicism in the Church of England. He was also Regius Professor of Hebrew at Christ Church, Oxford, 1828-1882. For further details see the Dictionary of National Biography.
