Biographical / Historical
Harold Henry Joachim (1868-1938) was a philosophy lecturer at Balliol and Merton before being appointed Wykeham Professor of Logic at Oxford in 1919, a chair which he held until his retirement in 1935. For further details see the Dictionary of National Biography.
