Biographical / Historical
Kim Joseph Loroch, (b 1923) was a Polish transportation company executive, consultant and international civil servant. Prior to his involvement in the United Nations (UN) Loroch worked as a shipbroker and Port analyst in New York, 1960-1969. From 1969 he worked for the UN in a number of roles including Chief of Transport of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), 1969-1974, transport advisor for the UN World Food Conference, 1974, and transport advisor for the UN Conference on Trade and Development, 1987.
