Biographical / Historical

John Dunkin (1782-1846), topographer, was the author of The history and antiquities of Bicester (London, 1816) and Oxfordshire. The history and antiquities of the hundreds of Bullington and Ploughley (London, 1823). For further details, see Dictionary of National Biography.
