William Stukeley (1687-1765), antiquary - see Dictionary of National Biography.

Custodial History

Richard Stukeley Fleming, Stukeley's grandson, received the manuscript in 1773 (fol. 1), and noted that the drawings were by his grandfather (fol. 6).

Immediate Source of Acquisition

Bought from F. P. Sellick, and given by Bodley's American Friends and Bodley's Canadian Friends, 1996.
