Part of an anonymous history of England from 870 to 979
The history begins in mid-sentence in the middle of 870 and ends with the coronation of Ethelred in 979. There are several references in the margins to the sources used, most of which had been published by the late 17th cent. The various editorial comments by the compiler perhaps indicate an intention to publish.
