A note by Ann Thwaite describing her gift of (fol. 105) a postcard from Elizabeth Jennings, 1958, and (fol. 106) a ticket for an Oxford University Poetry Society performance of T.S. Eliot's Murder in the Cathedral in which Ann Harrop (later Thwaite) and Maggie Smith (Dame Margaret Natalie) were Women of Canterbury, November 1953.

Biographical / Historical
Ann Thwaite (b 1932), née Harrop, read English at St. Hilda's College, Oxford, from 1952 to 1955. She has written numerous children's books and biographies. Elizabeth Jennings (1926-2001) was an English poet.
