Letters from Sir Edward Villiers, envoy to the states general of the United Provinces, and from 26 Feb. 1697 envoy-extraordinary and -plenipotentiary to the peace conference at Ryswick, to Richard Hill, envoy to Brussels. The letters cover diplomatic, political and personal matters in particular the events surrounding negotiations leading to the Peace of Ryswick, 20 Sept 1697.
