Mary Madge Lascelles (1900-1995) was an English scholar and teacher at Somerville College, Oxford 1931-1967. Margaret Weedon published an article, ‘Jane Austen and William Enfield’s The Speaker’, in the British Journal for Eighteenth-Century Studies, 11, 1988, pp.159-162.
