Notebook of Leonard Rice-Oxley
The notebook contains lists of Officer Cadet Battalion recruits and other notes, a few of which are unrelated to the war and date from 1987-1988. It is stamped ‘ “E” Company, No. 4 Officer Cadet Bn.’ and is inscribed ‘L. Rice-Oxley / Lieut. No. 4 O.C.B. / Keble College Oxford’ [Keble was requisitioned as a military barracks during the war]. Some pages have been torn from the book between folios 2 and 3, and again between folios 46 and 47. The alphabetical listing of recruits starts at folio 3 with the letter ‘D’. The notebook includes entries relating to:
