Abstract

Three autograph postcards from Harold and Elizabeth Hobson to Jack Walter and Catharine Lambert.

Biographical / Historical

Sir Harold Hobson (1904-1992) was a theatre critic for The Sunday Times and his wife Elizabeth Hobson (1900-1979) was a schoolteacher. Jack Walter Lambert (1917-1985) was a literary critic and literary and arts editor for The Sunday Times. His wife Catharine (b. 1918) was a vocal coach.
