Biographical / Historical
Hedley Herbert Marshall (b 1909), CMG (1959), QC (Nig.), was educated at Dulwich College and London University, becoming a barrister-at-law, then undertaking military service, 1940-1946 (Major). He became Assistant Administrator-General, Nigeria, 1946, Crown Counsel, 1950, Senior, 1951, Legal Secretary, Northern Region, 1952, Attorney-General, 1954, and Director, Public Prosecution, 1959.
