Biographical / Historical

Robert Coventry Hunter Greig (b 1909) gained an M.A. at Edinburgh, and a post as Assistant District Officer, Tanganyika, 1932. He was seconded as Assistant Secretary, Palestine, 1938 and was given a commission as lieutenant in the Palestine Volunteer Force, 1941. He was seconded to the Colonial Office in 1948.
