'Sketches chiefly of Oxford', 2 volumes of drawings, prints etc. mostly depicting Oxford characters of the early 19th century, collected by W.F. Thurland. According to the notes on the covers by W.P. Ellis, the drawings were executed, and some of them engraved, by W. and I. Matthews, father and son. Both volumes are indexed.
