Abstract
Postcards of works of art collected by Benedict Nicolson (1914-1979).
Biographical / Historical
Benedict Nicolson (1914-1978) attended Eton and Balliol College, Oxford, where he read Modern History. He was appointed Deputy Surveyor of the King's Pictures in 1939. From 1947 he edited The Burlington Magazine.
