The archive consists of the administrative records of the University. These date from 1214 to the present and include:
- records of the University's legislative and executive bodies (Congregation, Convocation and Hebdomadal Council);
- records of past members of the University;
- records of University delegacies and committees;
- financial and central administrative records;
- departmental and faculty records;
- charters, statutes and title deeds; and
- records of the Chancellor's Court.
Most of the holdings date from the 19th and 20th centuries.
Dates
- Creation: This catalogue currently includes material dating from the 19th and 20th century. As further content is added the catalogue will reflect the archive's coverage of the 13th-21st centuries.
