Limp vellum-bound, paginated volume of neo-Latin and -Greek poems and epigrams, mainly unpublished, collected by Mark Stuart Pleydell (1692–1768), of Coleshill, later first Baronet, as a child of 10 or 11 in 1703.

The authors are mostly identified by initial and surname, and most appear to have been from Wiltshire and studied at the University of Oxford. The authors include poet [George] Duckett (1684-1732) and T[homas] Toppinge (d. 1715).

There is one published work in the volume: 'Nundinae Sturbrigiensis' (ff. 61–70), by the Cambridge Latin poet Thomas Hill (1682/3–1758). This account of Stourbridge fair was based on a trip there in 1702 and published in 1709. In this volume it is signed 'Anonymus'.

There is an index by Pleydell at the end.
