Acceptance letter of John Stonehouse, MP, to an invitation of F.T. Ingram
A letter from John Stonehouse, MP, dated 29 Oct 1974, accepting an invitation to a social evening to be hosted by a Birmingham Councillor F.T. Ingram on Saturday, 14 Dec 1974. Stonehouse did not attend the event, declared missing presumed dead in November. The donor of the letter, daughter of Mr Ingram, recalls the details of the evening in her letter to the Bodleian Library (kept in Acquisition File).
