Photocopies (with descriptions in English) of documents confirming the nobility status of the Karpowicz family bearing the arms of Korab:
- (fols. 19-27) extract of the descent decree from the Books of the Nobility Descent Deputation of Minsk Province, dated 26 Mar 1835 (mainly in Polish, with some pages in Russian)
- (fol. 29) copy of the conferment of Ostrów Osowski upon nobleman Karp Karpowicz and his son Michał by Prince Fedor Jaroslavich in 1503, early 19th century (in Russian)
- (fol. 31) family tree of the Karpowicz nobility from the 15th century onwards, [1989] (in Polish and English)

Biographical / Historical
The Karpowicz family's lineage can be traced back to the 15th century. Their coat of arms is of English origin, with its first record, according to Alfred Znamierowski in Herbarz rodowy (Warszawa: Świat Książki, 2004), noted in 1403.
