Immediate Source of Acquisition
The notebooks were bought from Maggs (cat. 504, item 1305), and given to the Library by the Friends of the Bodleian in 1928.
- The notebooks were used by W.M. Rossetti for his editions of New poems (London, 1896) and Poetical works (London, 1904); a few poems remain unpublished.
