Biographical / Historical

Colin Ellis Franklin (1923-2020) was an English literary editor and antiquarian bookseller. He wrote numerous books on publishing and book collecting, and was Honorary President of the Oxford University Society of Bibliophiles. He was the brother of Rosalind Franklin (1920-1958), the chemist and crystallographer. For further information on Rosalind Franklin see the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography.
