A set of orchestral parts for Sir Arthur Sullivan's oratorio The Light of the World, prepared for and used at the first performance at the Birmingham Festival on 27 August 1873. The string parts are printed but the wind, etc. parts are in the hands of professional copyists. They are extensively annotated with cuts indicated in many places, sometimes with blank paste-overs. The wrappers bear labels of Goodwin & Tabb's Universal Music Library.
