Abstract
Colour negatives of Rayner Unwin taken by Pamela Chandler.
Biographical / Historical
Pamela Chandler (1928-1993) was a photographer. She became an associate of the Royal Photographic Society in 1949 and two years later established her own photographic studio at 33 Beauchamp Place, Knightsbridge, London. She is notable for her portrait photography, her photographs of theatre and ballet companies, architecture and dogs.
Custodial History
The material was purchased by the Tolkien Estate from Pamela Chandler's sister, Diana Willson, via Reeman Dansie, 30 Nov 2021.
