  3. (fols. 80-85) copies, in Clarendon's hand, of the King's message to the House of Commons, 29 Oct 1666, and his letter to the States General of the United Provinces, Oct 1666
  4. (fols. 86-87) letter from the States General to Charles II, in French, 25 Feb 1667
  5. (fols. 88-89) copy of a resolution of the States General, in Latin, 7 Apr 1667
  6. (fols. 90-91) summary of the above in English, and extract from a letter of the Swedish envoy at the Hague to the Swedish ambassadors in London, 12 Apr 1667
  7. (fols. 92-93) copy of an anonymous letter about Dutch attitudes to the war, endorsed 'Letter to Monr. Keewitt', [early 1667]

The majority of the letters from Breda are in Coventry's hand; those at fols. 3, 19, 37, 40, 48 and 50 are signed by Holles; the letter at fol. 44 is written and signed by Holles alone.
