Biographical / Historical
Henry Octavius Coxe (1811-1881) was Bodley's Librarian, 1860-1881. He was also a chaplain of Corpus Christi College, a delegate of Oxford University Press and curator of the university galleries. For further details see the Dictionary of National Biography.
