Biographical / Historical
Horace Hayman Wilson (1786-1860) was Professor of Sanskrit at Oxford. In 1829, he married Frances Sarah Parr Siddons (1808-1878), daughter of George Siddons of the Bengal Civil Service, and granddaughter of the actress Sarah Siddons. Fanny Kemble's letter is signed from 'your friend and cousin' but no further biographical information is known.
